Man charged with driving over hoses at Brookhaven fire


DeKalb County firefighters battling an apartment blaze late Saturday had a heavy extra challenge: Someone attempting to drive over their hoses. 

Now, Brookhaven police say they arrested Michael Zamorski, 48, and charged him with breaking the law that makes it a crime to drive over fire hoses and with driving under the influence of alcohol. 

Crews were battling huge flames, as many cars repeatedly ran over the hose and cut off the water supply. Read on...
