The 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Will Cost $80,000
Can you put a price on the the fastest SUV around the Nürburgring? Yes, $80,000. Alfa Romeo today announced the 2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio carries an MSRP of $79,995 before destination. That makes it the most expensive Alfa currently on sale.
But how does that compare to the competition? Well right now, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio doesn't actually have too many rivals, since the BMW X3M and Jaguar F-Pace SVR haven't reached the market yet.
Really, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio has two competitors at the moment, the Porsche Macan Turbo and the Mercedes-AMG GLC63. The Porsche starts at $77,200, but that's just for the base Macan Turbo—the 440-hp Macan Turbo Performance Package costs $87,700, and it's still 63 horsepower down on the Alfa. Mercedes hasn't yet announced pricing for the AMG GLC63, but our colleagues at Car and Driver estimate that the 469-hp GLC63 will start around $70,000, while the 503-hp GLC63 S Coupe will start at over $80,000.
